Events for Entrepreneurs, Angels and People Interested in Start Ups

HPA has a unique structure.  We have angels of course.  But we have student associates that work closely with us.  They are an integral part of our organization.  Laura Shapland is currently a student associate.  She has put together a list of upcoming events that you can attend if you are interested.  These are events outside of official Hyde Park Angels events. Chicago Lean Start up Circle – September Meetup with Mike Evans of GrubHub

Our September meeting will feature a talk by Mike Evans, co-founder of GrubHub. Mike will discuss the relationship between building a Minimum Viable Product and Unit Economics Models.

Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center Momentum Awards Dinner

The 3rd annual CEC Momentum Awards Dinner brings together 500+ of Chicago’s business and civic leaders with the city’s fastest growing entrepreneurs.  iCON Awards Dinner

Illinois Business and Investor Forum

The Illinois Business & Investor Forum acts as an umbrella group for angel investors in the Midwest. Its purpose is to create an interactive meeting showcasing early stage companies, entrepreneurs, and intellectual property from universities and corporations.   Bob Geras will speak at this event.

Crain’s Middle Market University
