Upcoming Chicago Entrepreneurial Events.

Chicago Mobile Meetup

The broad topic for the meetup is obviously to talk about mobile technology — to learn and share our ideas and experiences with others (that takes care of #1).  We will set up the room at the ITA in such a way that should provide for the ability to move freely around the room and share ideas, learn, and contribute at your leisure.

Lean UX at Chicago Lean Startup Circle

User experience is critical to adoption and use of many software products, but the way ux is practiced tends to slow down a project, which is death to a startup.  Lean UX changes the dynamic to fit the lean startup approach of very rapid build-measure-learn cycles.  Long detailed design cycles are eschewed in favor of very short, iterative, low-fidelity cycles, with feedback coming early and often.
