Congratulations to Matt Moog! Last night it was a standing room only crowd at the Built In Chicago Launch party. Howard Tullman of Tribeca Flashpoint Academy was gracious enough to host all of us. If you were at the party, I hope you had a chance to bump into one of the several Hyde Park Angel members that were there. We enjoyed meeting everyone, and hope that we can add to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chicago.
A special shout out to Maria Katris who works for Tie Midwest. She alerted us to the BiC event a while ago and we were really happy to attend. One new business we were turned onto last night was Finch Beer. It’s a new craft brewery in Chicago. Give it a try this summer!
It’s always fun to be around entrepreneurs. HPA believes we need to do more of this sort of person to person thing. It’s great to connect online, but nothing beats being able to get together in person. I know of a few brand new connections that were made last night.
