Social Venture Partners

Social Venture Partners is having a meeting in Chicago.  Here are the details and links.

Please join Paul Shoemaker, Founding President of Social Venture Partners International and Executive Connector SVP Seattle and Jeff Tollefson, Executive Director Genesys Works and partner with Social Venture Partners Minnesota at a reception on Tuesday November 1.

Social Venture Partners (SVP) is a network of individuals who care passionately about making the world a better place.  Where many may see entrenched societal problems such as poverty, illiteracy or homelessness, we see potential and opportunity.  SVP partners provide financial support and contribute their time, talent and relationship networks to help promising non-profit organizations grow and prosper.

On Tuesday, November 1st, Paul and Jeff will host a small gathering of local entrepreneurs, philanthropists and community leaders to discuss the potential for establishing Social Venture Partners in Chicago. Current  SVP partners from several of the 25 cities where SVP is thriving  will be on hand to share their experiences and lend their support to this exciting initiative.  Join us for cocktails and conversation as we explore the many ways we can work together to drive positive social change in our communities – and in Chicago.

Time:     5:00 – 6:30 pm
Where:  Founders’ Room, Park Grill
